How We Re-Assemble An M1 Garand

R
e-assembly of the M1 Garand rifle is a process that can take a couple of weeks to learn. Becoming familiar with how a firearm operates and how the parts work together is very important for a plethora of reasons not the least of which is keeping it functioning. Being able to take a weapon down to its individual parts helps one learn these things.

SAFETY

Always wear safety glasses when working on my rifles as there is the possibility of a spring popping lose and you don't want to lose my vision over maintaining an M1.. no matter how historic.

Once the rifle has been Field Stripped we turn our attention to the following individual groups and take them apart one at a time.
