Reassembling the M1 Garand's Stock is a cinch. Still, ALWAYS wear safety glasses when working on any part of the rifle.

Most of the things that need doing can be accomplished with a single GI M1 Combo Tool. The Buttstock re- assembly procedure presents no exceptions to this rule.
