Next remove the Bullet Guide.

The Bullet Guide kind of 'clips' into the receiver so it may need a gentle nudge to disconnect it from the mechanism. When it is free simply lift it up and away.

After the bullet guide is out of the way Pulling the Operating Rod Catch out is next. The easiest way to do this is to grab it by the front end and lift it at an angle. This will allow the 'dogleg' of the Operating Rod Catch to be freed from the Clip Latch.

It is now time to do the most tricky move of the process.
