The next step is to install the Ferrule Assembly. This is a simple matter of gently but firmly forcing The Ferrule onto the front end of the stock.

When in place it looks like this. Note how the Ferrule butts all the way up to the high ridge in the stock.

If we have not taken off the Rear Handguard, (which is normal - as there is little need to remove it on a regular basis), then we simply slide the Front Handguard over the barrel and hook it into the forward end of the Lower Band.

Of course if we have removed the rear Handguard we have one more thing to assemble...
